Voice and Piano Lessons
Children and Adults
Our teaching philosophy starts by assessing the needs and goals of each individual student.
With the objective of growth, we remain open and responsive and adjust our approach and curriculum accordingly.
We teach the skills of reading music as well as learning by ear. Music theory concepts and performance technique are part of every lesson. Students learn about rhythm, harmony, and experience a broad repertoire in their chosen style.
We believe in a strong foundation of musicianship that can be applied to any genre, style or even across instruments.
We work regularly with children and adults and enjoy helping all ages discover their passion.
We do all we can to meet our student's goals of all kinds, including:
Composing and lyric writing
Performing in a small or large group setting
Performing many genres: jazz, classical, pop, spiritual and more
Almost anything you can imagine !
See our Policy page for more info on how we operate.
Andrew is a pianist born in Raleigh, NC. He plays jazz all over the Triangle with his own group and as a sideman, but plays and teaches all styles of music. He has a Bachelors of Music from NCCU, where he met Ti! When he isn't teaching or playing, Andrew also loves computers, art and time with family.
Ti is a vocalist born in Philadelphia, PA. She performs jazz with her band, and teaches all styles including classical, pop and musical theater. Ti enjoys helping her students find their unique voice in their chosen style. She completed her Bachelors at NYU, and her Masters in Music at NCCU. When she isn't singing, Ti loves cooking, yoga and being a mom.
